Il libro inchiesta “Dalla discoteca si esce senza voce, non senza vita” di Gabriele Parpiglia analizza e ricostruisce la tragedia avvenuta nella discoteca Lanterna Azzurra di Corinaldo (Ancona) nella notte tra il 7 e l’8 dicembre 2018. Durante l’attesa per un’esibizione di Sfera Ebbasta, una “banda dello spray” ha spruzzato sostanza urticante tra la folla per compiere furti, scatenando il panico. Nella fuga precipitosa verso l’uscita di sicurezza numero 3, la pressione della calca ha fatto cedere una balaustra metallica corrosa, causando la caduta di decine di persone in un fossato sottostante e la morte per schiacciamento e asfissia di sei persone.
Il libro ricorda le sei vite spezzate: i cinque adolescenti Asia Nasoni, Benedetta Vitali, Daniele Pongetti, Emma Fabini, Mattia Orlandi e una madre, Eleonora Girolimini, che aveva accompagnato la figlia undicenne.
L’inchiesta evidenzia che la discoteca era in realtà accatastata come “magazzino agricolo” e non aveva certificati di agibilità adeguati. Viene denunciata l’economia del “sold out” (vendere più biglietti della capienza consentita per coprire i costi elevati degli artisti) e la mancanza di controlli da parte delle autorità.
Francesco Vitali, fratello di una delle vittime, identifica nella superficialità culturale e amministrativa la vera causa della strage. Sottolinea come la tragedia fosse evitabile se le norme di sicurezza e i controlli fossero stati applicati rigorosamente.
Il racconto mette a confronto questo evento con altre tragedie simili, come quella di Crans-Montana del 2026, per evidenziare come la mancanza di prevenzione continui a causare morti evitabili nei luoghi di divertimento.
