Palermo, anni Ottanta. Francesco entra in Polizia nel clima rovente dopo l’attentato al generale Dalla Chiesa. Seguiranno anni di servizio allo Stato, prima come scorta nella Quarto Savona 15, questo il nome in codice del servizio di protezione del giudice Giovanni Falcone, e poi nella Sezione Catturandi, per dare la caccia e consegnare alla giustizia i latinanti più pericolosi, come Giovanni Brusca, l’uomo che premette il telecomando della strage di Capaci. Tra aneddoti e frammenti di vita vera, Francesco Mongiovì ci porta dietro le quinte della sua Palermo, ripercorrendo anni di missioni pericolose, spesso sotto copertura, per mostrarci dall’interno la lotta alla mafia.
