Dal cuore delle pagine de la Lettura, il domenicale del Corriere della Sera nasce SOGLIE, la raccolta antologica delle “recensioni formato francobollo” curate da Franco Manzoni dal 2012 al 2024. Un lavoro certosino che diventa oggi un’opera monumentale: oltre 250 pagine per esplorare la poesia come mappa esistenziale, bussola etica, visione spirituale.
Pubblicato da I Quaderni del Bardo, è un’operazione culturale rara e necessaria.
Un viaggio tra i versi della poesia contemporanea in compagnia di 300 nomi e 100 case editrici, da Interlinea a Marcos y Marcos, Marco Saya, da La Vita Felice a Moretti & Vitali, passando per piccole realtà coraggiose come Prova d’Autore, Aragno, Puntoacapo, Corsiero, Edizioni Il Foglio, Book Editore e molte altre. Un vero atlante della poesia italiana (e non solo) del nuovo millennio.
Franco Manzoni, poeta e critico fuori dagli schemi, ci guida “sulle soglie” della parola autentica, puntuale, rigorosa nel raccontare poesia, la poesia del qui e ora, sotto un’altra lente ermeneutica, alla luce di un punto di vista elegante e imparziale. Con lui entriamo nei versi tra gli altri di Antonio Bux, Letizia Dimartino, Paolo Ruffilli, Patrizia Villani, Carmelo Pistillo, Lidia Sella, Alessandro Moscè, Nadia Scappini, Alberto Toni, Niccolò Nisivoccia, Laura Garavaglia, Vincenzo Guarracino, Ennio Cavalli, Tomaso Kemeny, Giuseppe Conte, Renato Pennisi, Marko Kravos, fino ad autori internazionali come Ryszard Krynicki, Don Burness, Alla Gorbunova, Gerald Manley Hopkins, Boris Pasternak e Anna Achmatova. Prefazione di Roberto Pazzi, che definisce Manzoni “fra umiltà e aristocratico disdegno”, e postfazione di Antonio Carlo Ponti, che individua la genesi di un genere a suo modo unico, a suggellare l’opera con autorevolezza critica.
