Il nostro quotidiano è un intreccio vibrante di spunti divergenti ed esperienze eterogenee: momenti di intuizione folgorante e improvvisi “black out” mentali, picchi di meraviglia e cadute nell’accidia. È la navigazione di un’esistenza delimitata da precisi confini spazio-temporali.
La traduzione letteraria di questa complessità non poteva che assumere la forma di uno zibaldone: una collezione di scritti disparati e occasionali, dettati da urgenze contingenti. Il risultato è un affresco composito della contemporaneità.
L’autore ha costruito quest’opera con l’ostinata volontà di andare controcorrente, esponendosi “anche su questioni che pertengono alle mene dei talk show, cioè al pratico, al quotidiano e al politico”.
Pur consapevole delle inevitabili conflittualità, rifiuta categoricamente di essere annoverato tra le “coscienze bene ammaestrate”.
Nonostante il retroterra culturale che affonda le radici in pensatori come Sartre e Marcuse e nelle istanze post-’68, il libro non si tira indietro: empatizza con le ragioni della Destra, osserva con lucidità disincantata l’ideologia bergogliana, denuncia le assurdità di una burocrazia elefantiaca e il declino di periferie malgestite.
Ma non solo: smaschera l’illusione di un antifascismo ancorato alla paura di un ritorno del ‘900, cieco di fronte agli immani pericoli tecnocratico-digitali del nuovo millennio. La polemica con il tardo capitalismo economico-finanziario è un filo rosso che attraversa l’intera opera. Declassare il materialismo storico-dialettico a “mythos fondativo” consente di integrare la sua “pars destruens” nel programma dell’opera.
Eppure, la sua bussola, in aperto contrasto con la cultura woke dominante, resta l’attraversamento profondo della propria cultura e tradizione – dall’arte alla spiritualità, dal pensiero alla storia – in un dialogo costante con il presente, nel tentativo di salvare la residua speranza che ci abita.
