Il testo, rivolto agli studenti delle scuole secondarie (12-16 anni), intende ridare dignità a chi ha lottato senza tirarsi mai indietro e vuole mostrare quanta strada ci sia ancora da percorrere alla luce della contemporaneità delle battaglie di ieri che sono quelle che ancora oggi donne e uomini continuano a combattere.
Il libro è arricchito dalla prefazione di Livia Turco, presidente della Fondazione “Nilde Iotti”. Ma in questa nuova edizione sono presenti anche la toccante postfazione di Luciana Romoli, ex partigiana della Brigata Garibaldi conosciuta come nonna Luce e la testimonianza degli Autori sulle tantissime presentazioni fatte in questi anni.
È un testo utilizzabile per l’educazione civica nelle scuole, per parlare in generale della Costituzione e, in particolare, del ruolo della donna nella società.
