Poeti ed istituzioni per GazaVenerdì 26 settembre a Lizzano (Ta), alle ore 18,00, presso il Museo Civico, in piazza IV Novembre, si terrà il 6° incontro del reading poetico itinerante contro la tragedia in Medio Oriente, organizzato dalla casa editrice Milella, dall’Amministrazione comunale di Lizzano, dal locale I. C. comprensivo “A. Manzoni”, da Interzona news.
Il tema è inequivocabile: Nel NONDOVE la barbarie inabissa il Cuore: Poesia da Gaza. Poeti e Coscienze per Gaza.
Dopo i saluti istituzionali del Sindaco, Lucia Palombella, e del Dirigente Scolastico, Lucia Calò, introdurrà, l’ideatore del progetto, il prof. Carlo A. Augieri (Università del Salento) e condurrà il prof. Cosimo Rodia (Interzonanews).
Interverranno poeti calabresi, lucani e pugliesi per testimoniare l’assoluto dissenso contro l’orrore del conflitto, con poesie scritte per l’occasione, raccolte in un opuscolo e stampato dall’Amministrazione comunale in duecento copie: Luca Crastolla, Marilena Cataldini, Maria Curatolo, Francesco D’Angiò, Luisa Di Francesco, Giovanni Di Lena, Rita Greco, Leo Luceri, Grazia Maremonti, Giorgia Mastropasqua, Anna Rita Merico, Roberta Positano, Andrea Siano, Simona Volpe.
Infine, alunni delle seconde e terze classi della scuola secondaria (plesso “Chionna”), sensibilizzati dal Dipartimento di lettere nelle ore curriculari, leggeranno poesie tratte da antologie di autori gazawi appena pubblicate in Italia.
Il progetto dalla casa editrice Milella, sposato immediatamente sia dall’Amministrazione comunale di Lizzano, sia dalla Scuola “A. Manzoni”, è di toccare più centri del Salento, giungere a Santa Maria di Leuca, redigere un documento di piena opposizione alla guerra, tradotto in arabo e inglese, inviato alle ambasciate e agli organi di stampa.
Se queste voci di reazione non arriveranno a chi soffre realmente, almeno avranno seminato una sensibilità alla pace e piena condanna di ogni forma di violenza, specialmente quella perpetuata sui bambini.
